What You'll Discover:
Who Is Dolorita Noonan-Robinson?
Dolorita Noonan-Robinson is an actress and performer whose professional credits stretch across television and theater. She is perhaps most recognizable to audiences through her screen appearances under both Dolorita Noonan-Robinson and the shorter professional name Dolorita Noonan.
That distinction matters when researching her career. Several of her earlier credits list her as Dolorita Noonan, including appearances on The Bernie Mac Show, Just Jordan, and Nosferajew. Later records use the surname Noonan-Robinson.
Her available professional profile also paints a picture of a multi-disciplinary performer rather than someone whose work was limited to acting. It lists theater experience, singing, improvisation, directing, costume and makeup work, modeling, and numerous fitness-related skills.
Dolorita Noonan-Robinson’s public record is much broader than her small number of widely indexed television credits suggests.
Dolorita Noonan-Robinson’s Acting Career
Television appearances
Her documented television work includes several recognizable productions from the 2000s and 2020s.
In 2005, she appeared in The Bernie Mac Show in the episode “You Don’t Know Squad.” The episode was released in February 2005, and her credit appears as Dolorita Noonan-Robinson in the episode records.
She subsequently appeared on Just Jordan, the Nickelodeon sitcom centered on teenager Jordan Lewis. Her role was listed as Woman #1 in the episode “Piano Stressin’,” with the credit again identifying her as Dolorita Noonan.
Another notable credit is Nosferajew, a mockumentary series in which she played Mrs. Feinstein. IMDb lists her appearance across the show’s 2009–2012 run and identifies the role under the name Dolorita Noonan.
These roles were generally supporting or guest appearances rather than starring parts, but together they demonstrate sustained involvement in screen acting across different periods.
Her role in Love in the Time of Corona
One of her more recent documented screen credits came in the 2020 limited series Love in the Time of Corona, where she played Nurse Maggie in two episodes.
The four-part Freeform series was unusual in its production circumstances. It was filmed using remote technologies and shot in the cast members’ actual homes during the early COVID-19 period. The story followed interconnected relationships and the search for connection during quarantine.
That production is also significant because Noonan-Robinson appeared alongside her husband, Charlie Robinson, who played Charles in the series.
The appearance therefore represents more than another item on a résumé: it was part of a project that brought the couple together professionally late in Robinson’s career.
Dolorita Noonan-Robinson and Charlie Robinson
Their marriage
Dolorita Noonan-Robinson was married to actor Charles “Charlie” Robinson. Public entertainment databases place their marriage in 1996, and contemporary reporting following Robinson’s death identified Noonan-Robinson as his wife and fellow actor.
Charlie Robinson was best known for playing court clerk Macintosh “Mac” Robinson on NBC’s Night Court, a role he held from 1984 through 1992. The Television Academy records that he had a career spanning more than five decades across stage, film, and television.
Their connection was therefore both personal and professional. Both worked as performers, and Noonan-Robinson appeared with Robinson in Love in the Time of Corona in 2020.
Charlie Robinson’s death
Charlie Robinson died in Los Angeles on July 11, 2021, at age 75. The Washington Post reported that his death followed cardiac arrest with multisystem organ failure related to septic shock and metastatic adenocarcinoma.
Following his death, Noonan-Robinson issued a statement describing him as the love of her life and emphasizing both his family and his commitment to acting. Her statement was reported by the Los Angeles Times.
It is worth being precise here because some online databases give July 11 while others display July 12 in their marriage records. The contemporary obituary reporting and Television Academy record identify July 11, 2021 as Robinson’s date of death.
Dolorita Noonan-Robinson’s Theater and Performance Background
Television credits only tell part of the story.
Her Backstage professional profile describes extensive theater experience, listing productions and roles connected with works such as The Wizard of Oz, Equus, Buried Child, The Jewish Wife, The Long Goodbye, Brigadoon, Ladies of the Corridor, and I Hate Hamlet.
The profile also lists formal training and a BA in Communications/Theatre, alongside training with several acting teachers and organizations. It identifies her union memberships as SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity in the United States.
This background helps explain why her résumé should not be judged solely by the number of television credits. Theater careers can involve years of live performance, training, regional productions, auditions, and creative work that receive considerably less online documentation than television appearances.
Dolorita Noonan-Robinson’s Other Professional Skills
One of the more interesting details in the available record is the range of skills attached to Noonan-Robinson’s professional profile.
She lists a soprano-alto vocal range and experience in musical theater, light opera, pop, and R&B. She also lists improvisation, directing, modeling, costume and makeup construction, and box-office and theater management.
Her profile additionally identifies experience as a strength-training instructor and aqua-aerobics instructor, along with interests and skills including swimming, jogging, golf, rollerblading, equestrian activities, and Tai Chi.
That combination suggests a career built around performance and physical expression rather than a single narrow occupation.

What Is Not Known About Dolorita Noonan-Robinson?
This is where caution matters.
Unlike Charlie Robinson, whose professional biography is extensively documented by organizations such as the Television Academy, Noonan-Robinson does not appear to have a comparable publicly documented biography covering her birth date, birthplace, childhood, parents, or detailed personal history.
Consequently, claims about her exact age, date of birth, early family life, or personal wealth should not automatically be treated as established facts simply because they appear on celebrity-information websites.
The same applies to net worth. There is no reliable financial disclosure in the sources reviewed that establishes Dolorita Noonan-Robinson’s net worth, so precise dollar figures circulating online should be regarded as estimates rather than verified facts.
There is currently no strong public evidence establishing Dolorita Noonan-Robinson’s exact birth date or net worth.
Why Her Name Appears in Different Forms
People researching her may encounter two versions of her name: Dolorita Noonan and Dolorita Noonan-Robinson.
This is not necessarily evidence of two different actresses. IMDb and episode records explicitly connect her earlier credits under “Dolorita Noonan” with the same performer later credited as Dolorita Noonan-Robinson.
For anyone trying to trace her filmography, searching both versions is useful. Otherwise, older credits can easily appear disconnected from her later professional identity.
